ATLANTA, December 1, 2014 – Ceto and Associates, a national consulting firm providing consulting services to the financial industry, has named John Mateker as a Manager within their Consulting Service Group.
In his role, Mateker will be responsible for managing Clear Point client engagements, which focus on non-interest expense, performance benchmarking, target staffing and process management. This responsibility entails working closely with the client’s organization, to execute detailed examinations on operations and performance in order to assess its effectiveness and efficiency using benchmarking analyses and best practices leveraged by industry leaders, as well as scorecards for process management and enterprise risk profiles. In addition, Mateker will also perform high-level reviews of bank structure, business goals, work flows, and core processes, among other elements.

Mateker is a seasoned banker and consultant with over 25 years of experience. Prior to joining Ceto and Associates, Materker served as a Senior Practice Expert leading an Operations and Technology service line. During his tenure, he provided a number of global and domestic banks with process improvements capabilities and spent more than 15 managing back office operations for several regional banks.
